What started with a patch full of pumpkins turned into a wonderful reminder of why we love being part of this community.
On Saturday, October 10th, We welcomed hundreds of families to our office, that we had turned into a festive pumpkin patch. Complete with hay barrels, LOTS of pumpkins, apple cider, donuts, cupcakes, games, and of course, a giant bucket of candy.
Welcome to the Patch!
Ryan and Elena greeted guests at check-in and helped kick off their visit. We loved seeing familiar faces and meeting so many new neighbors!
Eyeing the Prizes
Our prize table gave guests a little inspiration for the pumpkin decorating and carving contest. Picking out a pumpkin was only the beginning, the real creativity would happen at home!
Take Your Best Guest
How many candy corns were in that jar? Sylas encouraged guests to stop to take a closer look and submit their guesses, in hopes theirs would be the closest.
Finding the Perfect Pumpkin
Next stop: the pumpkin patch! Guests explored the rows of pumpkins to find just the right one to take home.
Whether they had plans for a classic jack-o’-lantern, a painted masterpiece, or something a little spooky, we loved seeing everyone choose a pumpkin to make their own.
Treats, Games, and Fall Fun
There was plenty to enjoy beyond the pumpkin patch, too. Guests could grab apple cider, donuts, and cupcakes from the treat table and spend a little more time enjoying the morning together.
Pumpkin tic-tac-toe gave a familiar game a festive twist, while the bags boards offered another chance for some friendly competition.
Of course, a visit wouldn’t be complete without a fun photo! Our picture cutout gave families a spot to strike a pose and capture a memory from the day.
The Fun Continues at Home
We continued to do pumpkin pickups in the days afterward, welcoming even more neighbors who couldn’t make it on Saturday. Now we can’t wait to see those pumpkins transformed! If you brought one home, remember to enter our pumpkin decorating and carving contest. Visit the pinned contest post on our Facebook page for instructions and complete rules.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and made our first Great Weatherguard Pumpkin Patch so special. We loved spending time with you and look forward to making more memories with our community!
